Why Choose Us
Big enough to serve, small enough to care! Voted Atlanta’s best pharmacy two years in a row!
Part of your Community
We are a true community pharmacy: your community is our community. Since our 2013 founding, we have been committed to offering a superior clinical and customer service alternative to the pervasive mediocrity of so many large chain pharmacies. We believe that working with each patient as a person, as opposed to churning prescriptions out, leads to better clinical results. The medical providers we work with seem to agree: more than ninety percent of our new patients come to us by way of a recommendation from their physician. We service patients throughout the greater Atlanta Metropolitan area.
Broad Access to Brand and Generic Medications
We can fill most prescription regimens and work with multiple carefully screened, credentialed national wholesalers to ensure that we can always source product. For generics, we stock only the highest quality generics available on the marketplace, not the cheapest.
Most Insurances Accepted and Competitive Cash Pricing
We accept most insurance plans and have extremely competitive cash pricing for medications not covered by insurance or for uninsured patients. Contact our staff to enquire whether we accept your plan.
Lost your insurance?
We have specialists on staff who can help! We offer free and complete coordination of benefits: from manufacturer free-drug programs to patient-assistance foundations, we have the expertise to ensure that you can afford your medication and have little to no out of pocket cost.
LGBTQ+ Friendly
Since our founding we have been LGBTQ+ friendly, and our staffing reflects it.
Experts in HIV, PrEP and PEP
We have years of clinical expertise in HIV, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP).
GA Drug Repository
We are an official collection and dispensing site for the GA Pharmacy Repository program. The program enables us to collect unused HIV medication from patients who no longer require it and offer it to uninsured patients who do not qualify for other financial support for a small dispensing fee.
AID for AIDS
We have worked for many years with AID for AIDS, a NY-based organization that collects unused HIV medication and redistributes it to patients in need overseas. You can drop off unused HIV regimens at our pharmacy and we forward it to AID for AIDS for processing.
Why we Cannot Accept Certain Insurances
We do not accept insurance programs that reimburse below our cost of acquisition for the product. Insurance companies typically use a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) to manage their prescription benefit part of their coverage. Certain PBMs have downright predatory reimbursement rates across their entire range of plans that we service. An example is Express Scripts (owned by Cigna), where a typical HIV monthly regimen is reimbursed at approximately $75 below our net wholesale cost. Express Scripts has declined to adjust its absurd rates despite our providing them with actual invoices to document our acquisition cost. Ambetter, a Healthcare Marketplace plan has similarly poor reimbursements that cause us to incur losses. Other insurers such as Caremark and United will have reimbursements that we can generally work with, but may still have the occasional plan with poor reimbursement. Call our pharmacy for a quick review of your regimen and plan.
